This booklet is designed as a fact book about Modified Atmosphere Packaging
(MAP). Food packagers and new comers into food packaging practice could use it as a
quick reference to get acquaints with MAP in many useful aspects.
The booklet is organized into four sections:

• Application of MAP
• Glossary
Note that new comers into food packaging could refer glossary section for understanding
some professional terms used in this booklet.
Use this booklet to begin the touring of the kingdom of MAP, the most powerful and fastgrowing
