Ochratoxin A (OTA) is a naturally occurring toxin produced by several common mould species including various types of Aspergillus and Penicillium.
It is found mainly in cereals, wine, beer, coffee, cocoa, and nuts, but can also occur in meat and dairy products which derived from animals.
Wine and grape juice have recently been identified as the second most important sources of ochratoxin A.
