History Of Viticulture And Winemaking In Turkey
Grapes have been cultivated in Turkey for at least 6,000 years. Some of the earliest known wine artifacts have been found in Anatolia in Eastern Turkey and there is a strong belief that this region is the cradle of winemaking.
Historians have suggested that winemaking started in Anatolia more than 6,000 years ago
